Are administrator rights required for installing and updating Clever PGP?
Download the installer only from the official page, let all components finish installing, and restart the app after an update. Only certain system components need elevation. Use the least privilege possible for routine file work.
If Windows was updated the same day, should I restart the PC first?
Yes. After a system update, restarting and running a brief test is a sensible sequence.
